Rick Owens DRKSHDW Hoodie
Heavyweight cotton jersey, garment-dyed, with a bit of stiffness that eases up the more you wear it. The graphic up front isn’t printed as one solid shape it’s broken apart, grey scattered across the black body, like the design got taken apart and left that way.
The Fit
Sleeves run long and double at the cuff, a shorter layer sitting over a longer one underneath. That means the wrist stays covered even when the outer sleeve shifts up your arm over the course of the day something a single-layer cuff can’t really do.
The Drawstrings
These drop a lot further than a standard hood string, landing closer to waist height than chest height. Gives you actual length to work with if you want to pull the hood tight and tie it off properly, instead of the short cords most hoodies leave you with.
The Hem
Doesn’t match front to back. Longer in the back, shorter up front, with a thin black tie hanging off one side instead of sitting centered. It’s not just visual the extended back keeps the hoodie from riding up when you sit down or lean forward, which a standard even hem tends to do.
