Design Notes

Recognizable as a skate shoe first that’s the base shape Owens is working from but the sole’s been bulked up considerably and the whole thing leans tonal rather than colorful. The suede panel is the one deliberate break from a plain canvas upper, cut on an angle instead of running parallel to the seams.

Looking After Them

Spot clean the canvas, keep the suede away from water and brush it instead, and let the sole get some air after wearing rather than shutting it straight in a box. Sunlight over time can yellow the cream, so keep them somewhere shaded when not in use.
