Design & Details
The snap line down each leg isn’t just decoration, it’s meant to open, tear-away pants basically, a nod to old-school track pants but done in stiffer cotton instead of nylon. Front seam runs straight down the center of each leg too, giving the pants a bit more structure than a plain sweatpant silhouette would have.
Material & Workmanship
Cotton twill, medium weight, holds a crease better than a soft knit would. Snap hardware looks solid, silver against the black, spaced evenly enough that the line reads clean down the whole leg rather than clustered anywhere.
Something fitted up top works better here since the snap detail already pulls the eye down the leg, a Rick Owens Shirt tucked in keeps it balanced. For layering, a Rick Owens Hoodie works too if you want it more casual.
Footwear-wise these read athletic already, so lean into it, Rick Owens Vans or Rick Owens Sneakers both suit the track-pant energy better than boots would.
Care
- Machine wash cold
- No bleach
- Tumble dry low
- Iron medium, avoid direct heat on snaps
- Check snaps periodically, tighten if loose
