The sole is where this boot earns its name a deep, jagged tread that steps down in sharp tiers, cut more aggressively than a standard lug sole. Above it, black leather runs up into a lace-up front with cream laces wrapped loosely and left to trail rather than tied tight, plus a small metal loop tab at the back of the ankle.

What the Sole Is Actually Doing

That toothed profile changes the whole shape of the boot from the side, staggering the outsole into blocky sections instead of one continuous shape. Paired with the loose, oversized cream laces up top, the boot ends up carrying two different textures raw tread underneath, soft rope-like laces above.
