Rick Owens Creatch Cargo Shorts
Drop-crotch shorts, dark charcoal-black, big square cargo pockets on both thighs with a ribbed flap on top instead of a plain closure. Seat’s dropped low, fabric hangs a bit between the legs before the shorts actually end.
Waist ties with the usual cord, drawstring loose down the front, elastic waistband doing most of the actual holding.
Pocket Design
Flaps aren’t smooth like most cargo pockets, they’ve got this quilted or ribbed texture running horizontally across the top edge, sits above a boxy patch pocket underneath. Both legs match, pockets sitting at the same height and size on either side.
Cut and Shape
Drop crotch means there’s slack fabric through the seat, tapers back in slightly toward the hem which is cut with a slight point at the front center, not a flat straight line. Length lands mid-thigh, roomy through the whole leg.
Material
Cotton, looks like a heavier weight given how it’s holding the pocket shapes without collapsing. Color reads more charcoal than pure black under most lighting, muted rather than deep black.
