Pebbled black leather covers the shaft, set against a smooth cream panel down the heel and a matching cream ankle cuff at the top. Bumpy croc-effect leather against flat cream is the main contrast here, along with cream laces double-wrapped through the eyelets and a side zip underneath them.

What “Mega Bumper” Actually Refers To

The name comes from the sole thicker and more built-up than the standard Rick Owens Geobasket base, adding real height without touching the leather above it. Along with the padded ankle collar, the boot ends up reading heavier overall than the original Geobasket.

Pairing With Black and Cream

Black on top and bottom works cleanest, letting the cream detailing on the boot stay the only break in color. Cropped or straight trousers keep proportions right given how much height the sole adds.

Care

Wipe the pebbled leather with a dry cloth the texture hides light marks well. Clean the cream panel and laces separately from the black so dye doesn’t transfer. Condition every few weeks to keep the leather from drying out.
